They have an island were I live for cats. Also when cats are too wild to adopt out they drop them off in the meadow by the dam. They go out everyday to make sure they are fed and got water. Everyone here calls them dam cats. But so far not a place for dogs. Although people drop unwanted animals on my property then I find that animal and take care of it. So I guess I'm that sanctuary for unwanted animals and that's just fine with me. The more the merrery. 😊
